Intersectionality of Movements: Solidarity with Palestine

When police in Ferguson, Missouri launched tear gas at protestors, Palestinians on Twitter gave advice about how to deal with the effects. While not the first instance of black and Palestinian solidarity, this exchange of information between oppressed groups of people facing violence highlights the shared struggle of oppressed groups the world over. Law@theMargins Editor Chaumtoli Huq speaks to activists Kamau Franklin, Ahmad Nabil AbuzNaid, Zoe Pepper-Cunningham and Muhammed Desai, The guests represent various sectors from black liberation struggle, in South Africa and from around the globe on how they are showing solidarity for Palestinians.
